HELLO, MY NAME IS SASHA WEST. 

A nature loving Mother living on a apple farm in the ever so dreamy Elgin Valley, Cape Town. 

 I live a simple life on our farm with my son Jackson and my darlin’ husband Luke.

I am most happy when surrounded by those I love, chocolate, hugs and in nature.

When you book with me, I want you to feel like a Goddess. 

I take pride in my talent to make you feel comfortable and to laugh lots. 

I have dreamy dresses and props I rent out for my shoots to add that something extra and create magical ethereal images of you and your loved ones. 

I love what I do so much, not one day shooting feels like “work” to me. 

 I am beyond grateful and honoured to all those who have booked me and let me into their beautiful families to capture moments.

 I feel so blessed to do this, making women, men and children feel so comfortable and seen.

I have been in the industry for over 13 years, and I have worked in many different departments. 

I assisted photographers, worked in TVC production, styling, location scouter, studio lighting, professional photo retouching and the art department. 

I truly believe working in all these departments has shaped my career today, as I see a photo as so many things that come together to create magic. 

I believe a great photo is created by bringing in the energy to make your client feel comfortable,

finding the perfect location the client loves, styling, skill and editing. 

So much goes into it and I love bringing all those aspects together. 

Becoming a mother has changed me in many ways, and I find myself photographing lots of Motherhood and I could not be happier. 

However, I worked for years at modelling agencies like ICE GENETICS shooting portfolio’s, I have done lots of brand shoots, product shoots and even property for companies such as Balwin Properties. 

I feel I am very versatile with my work and if a brand needs a certain look, I can deliver it. 

This is all thanks to the many people who have taught me and passed on their knowledge. 

I would not be where I am today with out all the support and love from others.
